The Johanna Juhola & Oona Sinkko duo creates an enchanting musical tapestry, where two free-reed instruments merge into one big instrument – sometimes bright and sparkling, sometimes soft and deep. The music intertwines the sensitivity of chamber music, the freedom of improvisation, and a solid expertise in folk music.
Accordion artist Johanna Juhola (b. 1978) has, through her performances and compositions, renewed the image of the accordion. Juhola has released six solo albums and performed in over thirty countries.
Oona Sinkko (b. 1999) is a pianist, harmonium player, composer, and educator from Kaustinen, known for her swinging and colorful playing style.
